The history of Housing Notebook
Housing Notebook has been broadcast over Pacifica Radio’s New York outlet, WBAI · 99.5 FM for over 30 years.
The current host, Scott Sommer, stepped into the studio after Met Council on Housing leaders such as Esther Rand, Roberto “Bob” Marrero, and Susan Radosh, established Housing Notebook as a staple of WBAI’s schedule. Sommer, a long time tenant activist and former legal services attorney, has been discussing issues of housing and related urban affairs and giving advice on tenants’ rights over the air since 1984.
